生肖/ 属相 —— Chinese zodiac
zodiac能够指西方的“星座”，前面加之Chinese，就能指中国的生肖了。
(1). Dragon is the only animal in the Chinese zodiac that doesn’t exist in the natural world. 在十二生肖中，龙是独一实际天下中不存在的动物。

十二生肖代表了12种动物。

对于“我属……”另有几种抒发：
—— I was born in/ under the Year of the Snake.
我属蛇（小龙）。

本命年 —— animal year/ year of fate
本年是我的本命年有以下几种抒发：
(1). This year is my year of fate.
(2). This year is my animal year.
(3). This year is my birth year.
(4). This year is my big year.
……年 —— the Year of the + 属相
(1). 2018 is the Year of the Dog.
2018年是狗年。
(2). Next year is the Year of the Pig.
来岁是猪年。
十二生肖的每种动物在英文里都有一个对于应的单词，教师给各人列出来，今后就不会弄错啦。特别是属“鸡”的，可不是“小鸡chicken,chick”之类的，而是“公鸡rooster“。
